The words out......pedorthicfootcare.com's on-line store is up and running. We've initially stocked the store with select shoes and foot care products that address a variety of foot issues. The shoes and other products that I choose for our store have either been used by me personally or have been dispensed to our patients at Stuart Pedorthics. The Aetrex running shoe, for example, is a shoe that I have been wearing for many years. In fact, I'm on my 4th pair.

We plan on periodically adding new products to our store. Choosing the shoes and products is a process that I take very seriously. Shoes have to be functional (serve a bio-mechanical or accommodative purpose) while at the same time being stylish and reasonably priced. Orthotics and other foot care products have to serve a specific purpose whether that purpose is support or cushioning. We are also carrying socks for special foot care needs. I am proud to be carrying Treadeasy reduced friction socks for those of you with diabetes, neuropathy or sensitive feet. Treadeasy reduced friction socks are without question the finest socks I have found for diabetic or sensitive feet. The blend incorporates Teflon fibers in the foot that greatly reduces the risk of friction blisters and rubbing inside the shoes. Not only did I use these socks extensively at Stuart Pedorthics (my patients loved them), but I wear them myself during my exercise walks.
